Zeno Rubach

For this project, we were tasked with collecting 100 images of a particular letter, and then arranging them into a grid. I was assigned the letter ‘O’. This project was created in Adobe Photoshop.

For this project, we were assigned to create 10 animal icons for a zoo or aquarium alongside a logo for our made up zoo/aquarium. With those icons, we were then assigned to create a mobile app layout, a website layout, and a map for our zoo. For this, I created 10 icons of different aquatic animals for an aquarium called “An Underwater Escape”. This project was created in Procreate and Adobe Illustrator.

For this project, we were assigned to create a personal logo and stationary for either our portfolio, or for a personal business. I chose to mix both as my logo is not only pictured on this very portfolio, but also on a later project for this class. This project was created in Adobe Illustrator.

For this project, we were tasked to find a digital artist that interested us, and write a short magazine entry on them. We were then told to design a magazine spread that corresponded with the artist’s style. For this assignment, I chose Sebastien Thibault, a Canadian artist who creates mainly political illustrations for organizations like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and more. This project was created in Adobe Illustrator

For this Project, we were tasked with making a movie poster. For this, I chose to create a poster for the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This illustration was created in Procreate.

For this project, we were tasked with finding a short story, and creating 3 spot illustrations based on that story. Instead of finding a short story, I wrote one. Once completing the three illustrations, we were told to create a magazine spread with our story and our images. The character in green, Tobias, is my personal character. The character in the maroon, Ben, was created by Shea O’Connell. The universe this piece is based out of was a Dungeons and Dragons campaign created by William Schneider. The illustrations were created in Procreate, and the magazine layout was created in Adobe Illustrator.

For this project, we had to make a website design for a real or made up company. I chose to create a website layout for my own personal clothing brand that I have been working on since the spring of 2020. The designs were all created in Procreate and will be listed lower in my portfolio. The layout was created in Adobe Illustrator.

I created these designs as a part of the merchandise for a club at Rider University. This club is Rider Dance Ensemble, a club where anyone and everyone is invited to dance.
